It’s time to unpack my journey to get here.
Honestly, my business happened by (a very happy) accident! Just like you, I ultimately started my business to be able to pursue success without sacrificing the things I love. But let’s rewind to years before the pandemic. I graduated with a PR degree, went straight into corporate event planning, and eventually worked my way into hospitality as an event manager for a boutique hotel. Though I enjoyed my job, I HATED requesting permission to travel or see my family in Hawaii.
Once COVID hit, like many others, I was immediately laid off. After a month of not hearing back from work, I knew it was time to start brainstorming for my pivot. I dove head-first into the rabbit hole of a “how to make money online” Google search. That’s when I came across a course with messaging that spoke to my wanderlusting soul - “own your own business and travel the world.”
You can call it fate or whatever you want. But I KNEW I was capable of building something bigger.
